Leyton Orient manager Martin Ling has dismissed suggestions of a return to the club for fans' favourite and veteran left-back Matt Lockwood.Lockwood quit Brisbane Road for Nottingham Forest last summer after nine years in east London, but he made just 13 appearances for Colin Calderwood's promoted side this season.
"If I'm honest I would say there is absolutely no chance that Matt will be coming back to us this summer," Ling told the Leyton Guardian.
"He left us last year for Forest and joined them on very good money, but in my opinion I would say we've already had the best out of Matt Lockwood at Orient.
"I know people and fans will always look at this dream case senario of bringing back a player like him, but after nine great years I think it is a case of moving on and not looking back as far as Matt is concerned."
