Didier Drogba has dropped another hint that the Champions League final will be his last game for Chelsea, saying he "would love" to join Milan.
"All footballers dream of signing for AC Milan. I explained to Paolo Maldini that Milan is a club I would love to join," he said.
The 30-year-old striker has said several times that he is considering leaving Stamford Bridge.
In January he told Eurosport that he had wanted to leave Chelsea for two or three years, a situation worsened by the sacking of Jose Mourinho earlier this season.
The Ivory Coast captain has now revealed that he travelled to Milan for talks two seasons ago, enraging Mourinho by claiming he was visiting the dentist.
Drogba said: "Jose took the phone and put it on loudspeaker and said: 'OK, seeing as we are not kids we are going to talk.
"'I trusted you - I've done everything for you and there you are telling me you're going to the dentist in Paris when in fact you're in Milan talking over your transfer. You lied to me.'"
Although Milan have publicly stated their desire to sign the former Marseille man, much could depend on the final weekend of the Italian season.
The Rossoneri currently lie fifth, and will miss out on the Champions League unless they beat Udinese and Fiorentina slip up against Torino.
Such an outcome would dampen their appeal for Drogba and lessen their financial clout in the transfer market.
Drogba also said that "complacency" cost Chelsea in the Premier League title race and that Manchester United were worthy champions.
"Sometimes we mentally finish games before the referee blows the final whistle," he said.
