Brentford striker Charlie MacDonald is refusing to set a date for his comeback from injury.
The former Southend frontman, who hit 18 goals last season, missed the League Two run-in after dislocating his shoulder against Gillingham in March.
Bees fans will be hoping to see MacDonald fit and ready for their start to life in League One, but he remains cagey about his return to action.
"I'm not sure when I'll be back," he told the Hounslow Chronicle.
"I'd rather not set a date, so we'll just have to wait and see what the doctors say."
Meanwhile, the Bees have added trips Farnborough, Aldershot and Hayes & Yeading to their pre-season schedule, and are also expected to host Reading in skipper Kevin O'Connor's testimonial.
