David Weir feels "robbed" by the decision not to award Rangers a goal against Hibernian which could have put them back in the driving seat in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.
Walter Smith's men were forced to settle for a point at Easter Road last night when Nacho Novo cancelled out a firs-half strike from Derek Riordan. Novo also had an earlier effort which he claims was over the line but the view was not shared by assistant referee Martin Cryans, who refused to award a goal.
Weir said: "It's one of the disappointments, although the ultimate disappointment is not winning the game. We had chances to do that. But you feel robbed a bit when you realise that decision has gone against you."
He added: "There is frustration in the respect that we didn't get what we deserved.
"In the second half, especially, we put a lot into the game, we had good chances to win the game and had a goal disallowed that was clearly a goal."
Rangers welcome Aberdeen in the lunchtime kick-off on Saturday, before Celtic travel to Hibs the following day and Weir believes the outcome of the championship is still impossible to predict.
He said: "Hibs are a tough team and Aberdeen are a tough team - every game is tough in this league.
"There are two games to go for both teams and I'm sure there will be ups and downs and it's just up to us to get over those."

Did'nt get what we deserved...............what the ubiquitous penalty decision? How drole. 'Fraid to say Dave you got more than you deserved and Hibs can feel cheated.
yous can moan all ya want but novo should have scored again with any 1 of they chances!
Weir, you got EXACTLY what you deserved. And at the end of the season you will again get exactly what you deserved.. BRIDESMAIDS, NOT THE BRIDE!!
Lets face it point 5 this wouldnt happen to septic fans everyone knows that septic has all the refs in their pocket. You just have to look at all the "Lucky" decisions they have had this season.
conspiracy theorists?we just had pole vaulter going on about how scumgers were being treated unfairly because they have to play wednesday, saturday.that to me means they had thursday, friday off then played saturday.celtic played scumgers on the saturday then played tuesday giving them sunday and monday off playing on tuesday.works oot the same tae me thicko.and check oot the last 2 games and you'll see celtic have less time between games.so fu ck off moron.
I'm sure all you Celtic fans would be bemoaning the situation if the disallowed goal had affected you! Funny how the conspiracy theorists at Parkhead shut up when the shoe is on the other foot ! Anyone who has seen the pictures know the goal should have stood; respect to the Hibs players coming out to say the same. And remember, the same "disallowed" goal situation happened earlier in the season at Pitoddrie when Beasley scored a perfectly good winner.
C'mon the Gers and win the title outright, disallowed goals or not
crying in yer beer will not win a championship. Mon the Hoops!
what happened notnot it does not work at easter road ball over line or not does not mean rangers would have win the ,game or not it does not work that way
If the goal would have stood, it still does not mean they would have went on to score another. Their tactics would have been different in the remaining part of the game as would have Hibs. At 1-0 Hibs were sitting back, at 1-1 Hibs were not. The result could have been the same but we'll never know.
OK lets hear what the windae licker has to say about this drivel
