Christopher Samba's agent has revealed that the Blackburn defender could follow his former boss Mark Hughes to Manchester City this summer.Hughes plucked the Congo international from relative obscurity in the Bundesliga when he brought him to Ewood Park in January 2007.
Samba quickly established himself as a regular in the Rovers side and last season his reputation continued to grow.
However, Hughes left Blackburn to take charge of Premier League rivals Manchester City at the start of the month and it now seems that he wants to raid his former club.
A number of Blackburn players have been linked with moves to City and agent Leon Lambert claims Samba is high on Hughes' wanted list.
But Lambert has warned that Samba, who only cost Hughes £400,000 from Hertha Berlin, will no longer be such a bargain.
"He was Mark Hughes' discovery, who right now wants him at Manchester City," said Lambert. "He could leave for £4million."
