Hoos gets Aldridge seal of approval

Departing Leicester chief executive Paul Aldridge believes the Foxes can look forward to a bright future under his successor Lee Hoos.City revealed on Thursday that Aldridge would be stepping down after just five months in the job to pursue other business opportunities, with former Fulham and Southampton CEO Hoos coming in as his replacement.

"I have known Lee for 10 years and I had no hesitation in recommending him to (chairman) Milan Mandaric,'' said Aldridge.

"He knows the industry inside-out and in my opinion he will be a great asset to Leicester City Football Club.

"He has experience of this division from his time with Fulham and he oversaw something of a revolution at Craven Cottage. I wish Milan, Lee and the club every success for the future.''
