Former Wycombe and Birmingham striker Steve Claridge believes the Carling Cup clash between his two old clubs could be a "night to remember".Claridge, 42, spent six months with Wanderers in the twilight of his career in 2005 and scored four goals for John Gorman's side. He played for Birmingham between January 1994 and February 1996.
"It should be a good game. It will certainly be interesting and it won't be a case of Birmingham just turning up and getting the win," Claridge told Wycombe's official website.
"I remember watching a game between Wycombe and Aston Villa a few years ago, and if it is anything like that then it could be a night to remember."
That evening at Adams Park in September 2005 saw Birmingham's rivals clinch an 8-3 win in the same competition after being 3-1 behind at half-time.
