Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock admitted he expects star midfielder Ben Watson to leave the club this summer, with QPR his main suitors.The 22-year-old, a product of the youth system at Selhurst Park, is a reported target of Championship rivals Queens Park Rangers.

Watson has a year remaining on his current contract, but Warnock is not optimistic that he will be at the club come the start of next season.

"We have offered Ben a new contract and a very good contract but my first impressions are that he wants to try something different," Warnock told the Kingston Borough Guardian.

"He has gone away on holiday now and will let us know when he gets back. But to me it seemed like he is ready for a move."
