Great Britain's amateur rugby league bosses are to reconsider future visits to Italy after the abandonment of their friendly under-23s match with a France Select side in Padova.
The game was halted midway through the second half with Britain leading 22-4 following a sustained mass brawl.
Claude Oabolu, coach of the French side, said: "I am desolate. Some of our players are crazy and (centre) Diallo is especially crazy.
"One of the BARLA players said bad things about his mother and the game then blew up."
Great Britain manager Mick Turner said: "This competition is an absolute disgrace. The treatment we've had since we arrived and the respect we've had has been poor.
"We'll have to think hard about taking part in events like this in future."
