Hello, sport fans. When talking about football, let's say the truth. How can a person call the like of Steven gerrard, Wayne rooney, Frank Lampard, John Terry, Rio ferdinand, Ashley Cole, Gareth Barry e.t.c an average players. It is too Bad. In fact at least England wiil be in the Semi-Finals. That's why football is interesting and unpredictable. Please let's wait till then before saying players like Xavi, iniesta and the manchester united bench warmer, Gerard pique will defeated the world. Mean while some of them are good like Torres, Villa, iniesta and senna. But don't overrate them because the proud will be abased.
Although spain is the best presently, that does not mean they will clinch both the confederations cup and the world cup. Let's us all know that in every game of football, luck is also needed as well as perfectness. Spain may make a costly mistake which may be their end.
Nevertheless, don't let us forget the unpredictable teams like Germany,Portugal and Brazil. The world cup will surely not be easy for spain as we thought although they are very good. Football is not mathematics as we see what happened to Manchester United whom everybody think will be the european and world champion again. How the underdog Barcelonia defeated them. Moreover, I guess spain will be in the semi-finals and possibly finals. But nobody knows who will be the champion yet until the game starts. Thanks.
Well NOT this time :)
Although Spain are favorites to win, Brazil always pop up with something special !!!
To Kevin O:The Confederations Cup brings together the winners of the various FIFA confederations tournaments – Copa America (Brazil), AFC Asian Cup (Iraq), CAF Africa Cup of Nations (Egypt), CONCACAF Gold Cup (USA), OFC Nations Cup (New Zealand) and UEFA Euro Cup (Spain) – as well as the reigning World Champions (Italy) and the host country of the upcoming World Cup (South Africa). FIRST L pls dnt comment if u dnt knw wat to say. who told u Del Bosque left out Senna for Busquets. senna is injured thats y he's left out. al same Spain would win the confederation cup and Brazil runners up. Italy third. y wont spain win with 4 BARCA players involved: Puyol, Piqué, Busquets and Xavi. O! i'll mis Iniesta dearly. I LUV U INIESTA!!! 4RM PEE, NIGERIA
yea i dont think usa is going to dominate. did u see who they have to play???? you must be stupid if you think that
y aibnt netherlands init
My pick for the cup is Spain as they parade, unarguably, the best team for the competition. Thank God the British media are showing themselves for who they are. They are quick in overhyping their team made up of less than average players. It sucks to think Rooney will be tagged a striker where Torres is or Lampard a midfielder with the likes of Iniesta, Xavi, Ribery, James or Robinson as goalkeeper in line with Iker Casillas, Cech, Buffon etc.
i think Spain will win this competition, shame Zimbabwe isnt participating.
#1...busquests have the potential to better senna...he might be as good as patrick vieira...the spain squad is fine as many world class players such as ramos, pique, xavi, fabregas, torres etc are young and very good...so,missing one or 2 players like senna wont be missed...but losing iniesta is to say losing 15% chances of winning???no ronaldinho this time in brazil squad...well,he's my favourite player...its sad to see the way he plays now when u know he can perform wayyy better than now...
Nice to see that Pepe made the Italian squad. Must have been a hard decision for him and for Lippi to make. I wonder how they'll disguise him....
Morituri you are right, it's the same with the transfers in 80% of the cases. also about the world cup qualifiers, they prefer to have news of andorra in stead of netherlands or russia, they don't even cover the tables, the table of france is completely f**** up. in the Olympics it was the same. China won most of the medals next USA and still the coverage was still in majority of british acomplishments. it's more than pathetic it's sad, cause the site is nothing like the television channel. also i stay in eurosport section, for international news, but still after a while they move you automatically tu the UK section, they are communists.
P.S. Shaka is drunk or high, no offense mate
good luck to Iraq because they are a team who can surprise people and because i am an Iraqi but still i think second will be very good for us.
