Michael Owen's management company have compiled a brochure on the striker in a bid to win him a move back to the Premier League.
Wasserman Media Group has sent the document, which highlights the strengths of the former Liverpool man over a reported 34 pages, to a select group of top-flight clubs.
The 29-year-old is out of contract at Newcastle this summer and, following Newcastle's relegation from the Premier League, is looking for a transfer to revive his flagging career.
Sam Rush, chief operating officer of WMG, told Sunday Mirror Sport: "As one of the world's leading sports agencies, Wasserman regularly utilise comprehensive documentation and audio-visual material to illustrate the benefits of our clients. Although there has been interest from abroad, Michael has told us that he would prefer to stay in the Premier League.
"In the week after the season ended, we prepared a document showing all the information an interested club would require and this was circulated to a select group.
"We also included a medical report and answers to frequently asked questions as well as a review of his commercial benefits and international name awareness."

upthevilla: as per usual incorrect facts, heskey got back into the England team while playing for Wigan, it was only then did o'neil go for him, and since then lol, he hasnt made it to England team, so what are you on about?????
I want a brochure. Anybody know where I can get one? Collectors item in the future methinks (surely a one off - nobody else is going to be crazy enough to do this).
sr.melvin! Did your Mummy send u to school? Coz your "English Writing" like f@#$..
It's really sad to see that his career has boiled down to this. If he was a horse maybe he would have been put down by now to spare him the psychological, emotional and physical agonies. But rats and sinking ship came to mind. All the best to him.
So Owen thinks he's going to get t o play in the Premier League? I hope he means the Scottish Premier League cause he wont get a game in the English one.
i reckon villa should take him we could get him back in the england team, like we did with heskey, martin o'niel gets the best out off players and as an england fan i would love to see him back to his best and up front with rooney in the world cup next summer!
posted to every pound shop in the land!!greedy @#$%
patrick.jewell. GET YA GEPS ON YOU THICK T W @ T. THE POSTING YOU ARE REFERING TO IS IN BOTH lower AND UPPER CASE. THE STADIUM OF LIGHT. HOW CAN ANYBODY TAKE A CLUB SERIOUSLY WHEN THE GO ROUND STEALING OTHER PEOPLE'S IDEAS. 19 POINTS. MICK MCCARTHY. RING ANY BELLS MY GOOD MAN?
sr.melvin: Your incisive comments bring credit to your club and fellow supporters. Did you write your comments in capitals to give it extra gravitas? Sir, in the words of the Reverend Spooner, you are a shining wit.
ste_wood, are you for real, another who is in dream land, Michael Owen has been finished as a top centre forward for years, Newcastle would have been down in january??? what are you talking about? Michael Owen as a so called top centre has never done it at Newcastle since the day he came, not just this season, Michael for what ever reason injury or not has failed to deliver for Newcastle, and as for England, isnt this the same player that hud winked the England backroom staff in making out he was fine to go to the World Cup in 2006, and also failed. Im not a lets just hate Owen cause Newcastle went down bandwagon mechant, but actions speak much louder than words, Owen has always been in it for himself, regardless of Newcastle, Liverpool, when he upped and ran, or England, he is not a team player, and that is clear as day, you want him at Everton, well good luck to you, I hope im wrong
APPARENTLY safc's NEW OWNER, Ellis Short, BEING AN AMERICAN, WOULD LIKE HIS NEW ACQUISITION TO TAKE ON AN AMERICAN STYLE TEAM NAME. HIS SUGGESTION, IT SEEMS, IS " SUNDERLAND BROWNS " WHO HE KNOWS, DISPITE WHATEVER HE GIVES THE CLUB TO SPEND ON NEW PLAYERS, WILL ALWAYS BE
SH I TE. HE ALSO INTENDS TO RE NAME THE HILARIOUSLY NAMED " STADIUM OF LIGHT " TO A MORE APT' " STADIUM OF SH I TE ." THE MAN'S ALREADY SHOWING THAT HE RECOGNISES THE CLUB'S STANDING IN ENGLISH " SOCCER. " reuters news agency
Forget the brochure Michael. That is soooo 1980's. Check out my new online service ClubFinder. It is for worn out old players who can't find a club the normal way. Same idea as Match-Maker and Friend-Finder. Within days you will receive tempting offers from fabulous clubs ready to satisfy your every whim, cash wise. But in your case, probably not.
Anyway. Don't Delay. Enrol Today. You get a free gift (one of those¬ game consoles from the idiots who advertise on this forum) plus a night out with one of the prossies (blond hairs, blue eyes, etc.). I assume you are a well-educated something special.
You know it makes sense.
"Lazy little scouse parasite who leaches off others, cant run, tackle, pass, head, shoot or score or even turn up as always injured! Only £150,000k per week plus 55 thoroghbred horses! Going on the cheap, buy before Monday and get, Ameobi,Barton,Butt,Duff,Nolan,Viduka,Smith,Xisco and Colocini for nothing!" Apply to NUFC direct and take "Fatshley" as well!
Owen Is a mercenary. If he had anything about him he would stay at Newcastle to fight to get them back up to say thanks for sticking by him with the amount of injuries he has had. I hope no-one comes in for him i think he has no commitment just interested in his own hype. Hope no-one comes in for him
owen has had his day, this latest move just smacks of pure greed. the stunted one should be offered no more than a pay as you play deal and i for one would hate to see him at spurs. i think he is where he belongs now, the lower leagues on 5grand a game.
Why am I getting Invalid Comment all the time you tossers.
if he come to man u for 50grand a match i would love it
I bet he won't worry about his injuries when he is running out of Newcastle!!!! He should of seen the light last season!!!
If he's really that serious about wanting to revive his career, he should be doing absolutely anything it takes to guarantee himself first-team football, whether that means going to a "lower standard" of club or taking a huge pay-cut. Or both.
I wonder who the select group of clubs that it was sent to are? I think we should be told. I can just imagine it arriving at Man Utd and Alex Ferguson saying "More Junk Mail? Throw it in the bin with the rest"
