Matt Clarke is confident Stuart McCall's summer signings will help Bradford City clinch promotion to League One during the 2008/09 campaign.McCall has brought in four players from League One clubs - Paul Arnison, Graeme Lee, Chris Brandon and Paul McLaren - and defender Clarke rates them all highly after playing against them in recent seasons.

Clarke told the club's official website: "They're very good additions and will all be a real asset to the club.

"They're not just squad players. They will make a massive difference to us.

"I've only seen them briefly in training, but we've played against them all and bringing in players like that will give us the edge to hopefully go up this year."
