Wolves manager Mick McCarthy is on the verge of signing striker Chris Iwelumo from Championship rivals Charlton.McCarthy offloaded Freddy Eastwood to Coventry last week and has moved for the targetman to replace him in his squad.
The 29-year-old was an ever-present for Charlton last season, scoring 10 times after his move from Colchester.
A statement on the club's official website said: "Wolves can confirm they are set to sign Chris Iwelumo."
