Watford defender Mat Sadler says the Hornets players have got over the disappointment of last season and again set their sights on promotion.Adrian Boothroyd's side were in pole position to climb out of the Championship for the majority of last season until an awful run of form saw them miss out in the play-offs to eventual winners Hull.

And Sadler - who will come up against former club Birmingham this season - is adamant the club are intent on banishing that disappointment this time around.

Sadler told the club's official website: "We've already sat down and underlined our objectives for the season and it comes as no great surprise that it's the same as last year - promotion.

"We let go all of the disappointment of last season in case there was any of it still lingering and now it's back to achieving our goals."
