Real Madrid forward Robinho has said he has no intention of leaving the Spanish champions, despite interest from Chelsea.

It had been widely speculated that the Brazilian would either be sold in order to raise the funds to buy Cristiano Ronaldo, or be used as a makeweight in a deal for the Portugal winger with Manchester United.

However, the Sao Vicente-born international has revealed he has no plans to leave the club.

The 24-year-old said: "At the moment I am only thinking about Real Madrid. I am not prepared to enter into the operation to sign Ronaldo. I hope to stay this next year with Real."

Robinho scored 10 goals for Real Madrid last season as they retained their Liga title.

  6. LOL!! If you write an article about such a spectacular player you should at least know how he looks like. He's on TV every weekend during Spanish Primera, you know? The onlu resemblence btw the guy in the photo and Robinho is that they are both form Brazil. He's name is Marcelo Vieira da Silva Júnior, he plays left back also for Real.
