Carlton Cole is West Ham's only fit senior striker for their opening Premier League match against Wolves.
Manager Gianfranco Zola is likely to use loan signing Luis Jimenez and Kieron Dyer as support from out wide for Cole, ahead of a three-man midfield.
West Ham are without long-term absentees Dean Ashton (ankle), Luis Boa Morte (Knee) and Valon Behrami (ankle).
Danny Gabbidon could make his first Premier League appearance in 18 months after recovering from abdominal and back injuries while Zola must decide whether to give new signing Fabio Daprela his debut at right-back.

am glad to say that Carlton Cole has made me eat my words and think he is going to have a fantastic season. COME ON YOU IRONS
WHY is he our only fit senior striker? It's not like the start to the new season has come as a freakin' surprise !!
Why have we ALWAYS got to START the seaon on the back foot? Last 2 seasons it was a whole team of injuries !!
Gudjohnsen has been messing us about for over a year, stuff him if he won't commit.... and try spending some bl**dy money instead of begging for loaners !!
£1bn TV revenuse for the Prem this season, so where has the £50m gone? Plus last seasons final position money, shirt sponsorship etc. Only a SMALL portion of that going to Sheff Utd this season !!
We don't expect to spend like Man City, but we don't expect to see Sunderland and Bolton outspending us by £30m either !!
Stephenbyrne, spoken like a true fan....of some other team. I'm a West Ham man and Carlton Cole is our striker and I will support him completely. Just as our manager does and also most other Hammers fans do. He is a fine player and I'm glad to have him at West Ham. Come on you Irons!
here we go again one person up front
carlton cole must learn to stay on his feet he had a good game for england, keep it up for west ham.
