Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not let the fans' reaction distract him from the task of scoring goals when Barcelona travel to his former club Internazionale.
The Champions League Group F clash at the San Siro has an extra edge after the European champions signed Ibrahimovic and defender Maxwell from Inter and striker Samuel Eto'o went the other way.
Ibrahimovic said he was relishing the challenge of returning to his former club even if he was not quite back to full fitness after a hand injury and was still getting to know his new colleagues.
"I'll do everything to score (on Wednesday) because I play for Barca now," the Sweden striker said.
"I don't know what to expect from the fans but I will go there and do my best and hope we win," he added. "People know my quality and I know my quality and for me it's an obligation to win every match I play."
Ibrahimovic was a match winner for Barca in La Liga on Saturday, scoring one goal and setting up Lionel Messi for another in a 2-0 win at Getafe.
He said he was feeling much better physically after the hand injury disrupted his pre-season training and he was glad to have played the full 90 minutes.
"Where I am (physically) I don't know but I am improving and working hard," he said.
"I also need to get to know my new team mates better to bestuse my chances.
"It's normal to have to adapt and it's something that only comes in time. It's important for me to play games and get my rhythm. The more games I play then the more you will see the real Zlatan."
Ibrahimovic said Inter had a much stronger squad this year.
"I would say they are among the favourites to win even the Champions League. I am sure that the Champions will come for Inter one day."

Comment 8...why don't you extend the comparison to goals scored over their entire careers...using 2 games is ridiculous..did you learn statistics in school, did you learn about sampling? You need to learn some critical thinking. Anyway for the record Etoo - 205 goals in 403 games (51% ratio) against Ibras 157 in 355 (44%). Etoo's got a better goal scoring record period!! However I prefer Ibra coz to me he is just abit more skillfull than Etoo...
Comment 8 its hard to concentrate on exactly what your point is, as your comment is just littered with swear words and racist undertones! Sammy Eto is not loved because he is black, if you care to look up his stats it is because he is an extremley prolific striker, nothing more, nothing less. I dont hate Ibra at all, I know he has a very good record for Inter Milan however for me he fails to be any good on either of the world stages (International or Champions League) and I honestly believe that Eto is a much better striker and will end up with a scoring record that is as good if not better then Ibra's
If eto'o was so good, why could he not save inter from lazio, or bari a seria B team.
For all you Ibra haters, go fuxk yourself. Let me ask you something, how many goals has eto'o scored? Eto'o scored 2 goals in 3 matches, and he was fit and had no injuries. Where as Ibra was injured, did not play any preseason games, and has scored 2 goals, 2 assists, in 2 matches, and that is with no friendly matches practice. So this shows that Ibra is way better. Go fuxk yourself Ibra haters. You only love eto'o because he is black like you, a a black man would love another black man just for being black, go fuxk yourself.
Big mouth... Eto'o talk with goals...
highly over-rated! What has he done before!! Outside Italy all i know is during Euro 2008 he was the highest paid player on earth... That's all:
not as good as eto and dnt perform in europe. vry much overrated.
He is massively over rated and not worth the money or Sammy Eto, Barcelona must be mad spending that much on him
