Adam relishing Magpies test

Blackpool midfielder Charlie Adam insists his side are ready to bounce back from Saturday's defeat at Leicester against high-flying Newcastle.

The Seasiders suffered their first defeat in eight outings this term on Saturday after slipping to a 2-1 defeat at Ian Holloway's former club Leicester.

Newcastle visit Bloomfield Road on Wednesday and Adam said: "We've got a tough game on Wednesday and we need to pick ourselves up now and be ready for it.

"Every game is a big game but to test yourself against the players who they've got is perfect for us."

  1. This could be a great match. Yes, if there aren't­ many goals Newcastle have a chance. This will be their­ mentality, even without Smith. If Blackpool show how­ they can quickly craft goals and their defence play out­ of their skins it will be 5-2 to Blackpool.

  2. ashley is reported in the telegraph to have put up the­ price for the club as they are doing so well. the deal­ was nearly done but now moat has to go away and see if­ he can come back with the extra. So which is­ better,Hammer blackpool and the price goes up and­ Ashley stays. Or we get done by Blackpool and he goes.
