Tranmere boss John Barnes hopes to have goalkeeper Luke Daniels available for Saturday's trip to Exeter after he was injured in the 3-2 home defeat to Walsall.
The on-loan West Brom stopper required stitches in his knee following a challenge just before half-time and Joe Collister replaced him for the second half.
Barnes said: "We'll have to wait and see how he is. It's just at the bend of the knee and every time you run or walk the knee bends so maybe the stitches could open.
"We'll have to see (physio) Les Parry and see what happens with Luke."
