Aldershot manager Gary Waddock has revealed that left-back Andy Sandell suffered medial ligament damage during Saturday`s 1-1 draw with Hereford.

Waddock lost Adam Hinshelwood and Ben Harding to injury last weekend and has now seen his small squad stretched even further with Sandell`s injury.

He said: "Andy Sandell came off injured and it looks as though it is a medial ligament injury. It`s another setback.

"He was fantastic and has been excellent all season and we will now lose him for a few weeks which is not too clever."
