Wycombe manager Peter Taylor believes forward Stuart Beavon will go on to improve after his goal earned the Chairboys a point at Hartlepool.

Beavon has struggled to find his feet at Adams Park after moving from Weymouth at the end of last season but finally got off the mark with an excellent goal at the weekend.

Taylor said: "It was a great goal and he is a clever player.

"He plays in a position where he wants to go towards the ball which takes him deep into midfield.

"That means he has to work a lot harder but he`s very capable. He can score goals so he can get better as well."
