Worcester have been boosted by the arrival of Samoa World Cup star Loki Crichton in time for their Premiership clash with Leeds Carnegie on Friday evening.
Crichton (pictured) earned positive reviews for his performances at the World Cup, despite Samoa's disappointing return of just one win from four games.
The versatile Samoan back, who scored 14 points in the defeat to England, is one of six new signings at Sixways this season, where he has penned a two-year-deal.
"The World Cup was a fantastic experience for me and something I want to build on at Warriors," said the former Super 14's player.
"I was pleased with my form in France and the way the competition went for Samoa, I have memories I will cherish from the event for the rest of my life.
"Now I really want to produce that kind of form for Worcester and help the team start recording victories and move up the Guinness Premiership table."
Worcester have not had the best start to the Premiership and Crichton is keen to help them improve on their current position of second from bottom following just one draw from four games.
"I'm eager to develop my game and help Warriors, starting at Leeds," Crichton added.
"I have been looking at the results while I was away and believe the team is really close to putting it together from what I have seen on the training field in the first week.
"I have settled in quickly, the boys have really welcomed me into the club and made me feel welcome. I had the chance to come here before the World Cup which helped me settle before I went to France with Samoa.
"The first time I put a Worcester shirt on will be a special occasion for me and I hope that will happen at Leeds Carnegie in what is a big game for the club so early in the season."
