Saracens have strengthened their front-row options with the signing of Samoan World Cup prop Kas Lealamanua.
Director of rugby Brendan Venter had wanted more depth in the position after matchday squads were increased to 23 players to include a full replacement front row.
Lealamanua (pictured), 32, has previously played for Biarritz and Dax in
Venter said: "Since the inception of the 23rd man in matchday squads, we have been looking to strengthen the squad with another prop and the signing of Kas adds depth and strength to that area of the team.
"Kas is a very experienced prop having played at the top level of the game for many years. He has a strong work ethic and will be a valuable asset."
Saracens have won all five of their Guinness Premiership games this season and lead the table by one points from London Irish.
