Morten Gamst Pedersen was on target as a strong Blackburn side won 3-1 against Accrington Stanley in a fund-raising game for the cash-strapped League two club.
Pedersen, Franco Di Santo and Marcus Marshall scored the goals at the Crown Ground for a Rovers side captained by Gael Givet and which also included Nikola Kalinic, Benni McCarthy and Jason Roberts.
A crowd of 2,453 attended the match which was staged in aid of the Save our Stanley campaign.
Pedersen opened the scoring with a free-kick after just three minutes and Di Santo increased the lead just before the break.
Michael Symes scored for Accrington just after the hour, but a penalty from Marshall wrapped up the victory.
