Fri 14 Dec, 12:15 PM

Bournemouth welcome back Neil Young and Russ Perrett into the squad for the visit of Gillingham on Saturday.Young was recalled from Weymouth after Paul Telfer called time on his Cherries career and loan defender Dominic Shimmin returned to QPR, while Perrett has completed a week's training, but still "needs games" to reach match fitness.

Darren Anderton is still struggling to shake off a hamstring injury although the former England international has been working on his fitness with physio Steve Hard and Jo Kuffour is recovering from his rib complaint and is not expected to feature at the weekend as the Cherries look for their first home league win of the season.

The Cherries have been boosted with the news that Reading trio James Henry, Scott Golbourne and Alex Pearce have extended their loan deals with the club.

Manager Kevin Bond said: "It was vitally important we secured the lads for another month as we may not have been able to field 11 players without them!"

They are also without Neil Moss (knee), Ryan Garry (shin), Josh Gowling (calf), Steve Foley (back) and Jean Christophe (wrist).
