Notts County boss Ian McParland felt his side had been hard done by for Ryan Lowe's opener as they succumbed to a 2-0 defeat at Chester.Lowe and Kevin Roberts scored for the Chester, while County's woes continued when substitute Jamie Forrester was sent off following a shocking challenge on Damien Mozika in stoppage time.
But McParland admitted his side had not produced enough attacking threat at Deva Stadium.
He said: "I'll have a look at Chester's first goal on DVD because to me it looked offside.
"We didn't make their keeper make a save and that's not good enough. We had enough of the possession but didn't do anything with it.
"They got their goal against the run of play and then we've been going at them without seriously threatening. If you don't score goals, you don't win football matches."
