Fenlon not keen on trialist duo

Hibernian manager Pat Fenlon will not be pursuing his interest in the two trialists he had at the club last week.

An unnamed goalkeeper and former Sligo Rovers left-back Iarfhlaith Davoren featured in a training-ground friendly against Celtic.

Neither will be returning, though.

Fenlon told Hibernian TV: "We won't be doing anything presently on either of them. We are looking around and I feel there are one or two positions that need strengthening.

"We are actively looking around to see what we can do. But January is a difficult time to bring in decent players.

"We don't want to bring in players just for the sake of bringing in players. If they come in then they have to be an improvement on what we have."
