Hull goalkeeper Matt Duke has visited his team-mates for the first time since an operation to remove a testicular tumour.Duke visited the Tigers' training ground at Cottingham, where players and staff offered their support to the 30-year-old.
The operation took place on January 5, and Duke is waiting on the outcome of a biopsy later this week.
"Matt came in to see all the lads," Tigers boss Phil Brown told the Hull Daily Mail. "He was still in a lot of pain, and struggling to move around, but he was in good spirits.
"The players have known for over a week now but there's been a lot of shock in the dressing room. It puts the result of a football match firmly into perspective."
Duke has played four matches for the Tigers as Boaz Myhill's understudy this season.
