Tue 15 Jan, 11:15 AM

Former Germany boss Berti Vogts remains tight-lipped over reports he is set to link up with Jurgen Klinsmann at Bayern Munich next season.Klinsmann, another former coach of the national team, will succeed Ottmar Hitzfeld in charge of the Bundesliga giants in the summer and speculation has suggested Vogts could work alongside him at the Allianz-Arena.

Former Scotland coach Vogts, who guided Germany to the glory at Euro 96 with Klinsmann as his captain, is currently in charge of Nigeria and is gearing up for the African Nations Cup, which kicks off in Ghana on January 20.

He told the Bild: "Bayern is the best run club in the world. It is clear that it would be fun to work for Bayern.

"But for now I am focusing only on the African Nations Cup. Therefore I ask for you to understand that at the moment I don't want to say anything more on this subject."
