Team news ahead of Wednesday's FA Cup replays between Newcastle and Stoke and Manchester City and West Ham.
Man City v West Ham
West Ham captain Lucas Neill is expected to be available for Wednesday night's FA Cup third-round replay against Manchester City after missing the victory over Fulham with a hamstring injury.
Lee Bowyer and Luis Boa Morte will both be pushing for places in the side after substitute appearances on Saturday while James Collins is pressing for a start in the centre of defence.
Julien Faubert made a brief debut late on against Fulham and could again make the squad as he continues his comeback from a ruptured Achilles, but Scott Parker (knee), Nolberto Solano (groin), Bobby Zamora (knee) and Craig Bellamy (abdominal) are all out still out.
Boss Alan Curbishley declared that he would "shake it up a bit" and implied that there would be changes made to the defence, which has been almost constant all season. John Pantsil and - if recovered from a groin strain - Danny Gabbidon could therefore feature for the Hammers.
Michael Johnson is the only absentee for City as he continues his recovery from a groin strain while Stephen Ireland returned from suspension for the 1-0 win at Everton last weekend and is expected to start.
New signing Nery Castillo has made his debut but struggled and is unlikely to start again so soon, with Rolando Bianchi expected to come in for the on-loan Mexico striker.
Stoke v Newcastle
What a great time for Stoke to face the Toon, the managerless and hapless Geordies coming off the back of one of the more controversial sackings in recent years, not to mention a 6-0 hammering at Manchester United.
Magpies caretaker Nigel Pearson is without Alan Smith and Nicky Butt (suspended) and African foursome Habib Beye, Abdoulaye Faye, Geremi and Obafemi Martins due to international duty.
Emre is likely to start his first game since Boxing Day, while youngsters Andy Carroll and Kazenga LuaLua could be included in the squad, although Joey Barton will not play despite his return to training following his spell in jail and rehab.
Stoke will be without Mali forward Mamady Sidibe, also away on African Cup of Nations duty, so Vincent Pericard could start for the Potters. New permanent signings Danny Pugh and Ryan Shawcross should also figure.
