Tottenham goalkeeper Radek Cerny has revealed that he thinks there are big changes to come in the Spurs squad this month or in the summer as Juande Ramos eyes fresh faces from his previous clubs.
Ramos won two UEFA Cups and the Copa del Rey with Sevilla after spells in charge of Rayo Vallecano, Real Betis, Espanyol and Malaga.
Spurs have been linked with several Sevilla players: highly-rated attacking full-back Dani Alves, forwards Alexander Kerzhakov and Luis Fabiano, goalkeeper Andres Palop and midfielder Christian Poulsen as well as former White Hart Lane striker Frederic Kanoute, who has blossomed into one of the most feared strikers in Europe while in Andalucia.
"I think that Mister Ramos will be keen on bringing in players he knows well and whom he will be able to trust absolutely," Cerny told Czech television.
"I am not sure if they will come in January or in the summer; but one way or another, I anticipate big changes."
The prospect does not faze the shot-stopper because he is used to such goings-on at White Hart Lane.
"During the three years I have been here there have been a lot of changes," he added. "The squad is completely different now and the movement of players is really fluent.
"That is how life is like here: someone comes in and another player moves out."
Cerny said that Spurs may be forced to sell Dimitar Berbatov if they receive a big enough offer for the cultured Bulgaria striker.
"I think the coach is happy to keep him as he is one of our best players. But if someone offers a big sum of money - such as the rumoured £30 million - then anything is possible.
"Tottenham can hardly resist such an offer."
Czech 'keeper Cerny featured in the League Cup semi-final against Arsenal at The Emirates last week, as well as at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea in the Premier League at the weekend, after playing second-fiddle to Paul Robinson for years.
"We get on very well and have never had a problem with each other," he said of the fallen England number one. "It will stay like that for ever. Of course he, as a big goalkeeping personality and England international, will want to get back in goal.
"We will see how the situation develops. I am glad for every chance I get. At Tottenham I was used to playing three or four games a season and now I have played in three games within a week, so that is a big change.
"I want to enjoy every game. That is why I play football after all - to play in big games such as these."
