Andrew Davies is an injury doubt for Southampton's FA Cup fifth-round clash away to Bristol Rovers at lunchtime on Saturday. The former Middlesbrough defender suffered a dislocated jaw, and was briefly unconscious, during Tuesday night's 3-2 defeat at Stoke and is unlikely to travel.
Wayne Thomas could replace Davies at the back having missed the Stoke game with a recurrence of his Achilles injury.
Skipper Youssef Safri serves the second game of his four-match ban following his second red card of the season, so Jhon Viafara should continue in midfield.
Full-back Alexander Ostlund came through unscathed on his return from a hamstring injury and should keep his place.
Gregory Vignal is close to a return following a broken arm but Chris Makin (hip), Claus Lundekvam and Nathan Dyer (both ankle) remain long-term absentees.
Kick-off at the Memorial Stadium is at 12.30pm.
