Macclesfield striker Gareth Evans admits his side are on a revenge mission against League Two rivals Lincoln this weekend. The Silkmen slumped to a 2-1 home defeat at the hands of Lincoln on February 5 but they have an opportunity to quickly avenge that result on Saturday.
Ian Brightwell's men are hovering precariously just above the relegation zone and Evans knows that safety remains a long way off.
"It would be nice to go to Sincil Bank this Saturday and get a bit of revenge," said Evans.
"We certainly need to start putting a run together as we don't want to go into the last few games of the season scrapping for points.
"I think it is inevitable you do start looking over your shoulder and glancing at the table especially as the teams below us have games in hand. But ultimately we need to concentrate on our game as if we put a run together it doesn't really matter what the other teams are doing."
