Pair back for Hatters clash

Fri 15 Feb, 12:45 PM

Sean Thornton and Alton Thelwell are poised to return to the Leyton Orient squad for the League One trip to Luton Town on Saturday.Midfielder Thornton has sat out the last four games with a hamstring injury and defender Thelwell has been out for six weeks to rest his persistent knee problem.

But both resumed training on Thursday and should be involved at Kenilworth Road.

Thelwell's return is timely as fellow centre-half Tamika Mkandawire needs a hernia operation, which is expected to keep him out for a month.

Forward Andy Barcham came off with a knock during Tuesday night's defeat by Crewe but he will be fit.

Defender Clayton Fortune needs some more reserve games as he builds up his fitness following a long-term shoulder injury.
