Stockport defender Michael Raynes has been ruled of the home clash against derby rivals Bury after suffering a hamstring strain.The 20-year-old sustained the injury during Tuesday's stunning 4-1 win at Rotherham.
He was replaced by Leon McSweeney after 66 minutes, and the Irishman could now earn a starting berth against the Shakers.
Midfielder Paul Turnbull has missed County's last four games due to a knee injury and may not be risked for the Edgeley Park clash.
Defender Gareth Owen (groin) also remains sidelined as County seek to build on their midweek master-class at Millmoor.
Tommy Rowe, 18, has scored four goals in his last two games, and manager Jim Gannon said: "I've said before and I've told him personally I think he's got a great future."
