In our quickfire '60 seconds' quiz, Keane admitted that he thought he had "missed the boat" in terms of making it as a professional before manager Brian Clough took a shine to the then 18-year-old midfielder during a trial at Forest.

Former Sunderland and Ipswich manager Keane picked Clough as one of the three guests he would have at his dream dinner party, along with two other famous names who would make for an intriguing evening.

On Thursday, Keane will be revealing his sporting heroes and the players of the Barclays Premier League era he most admires, while on Friday there will be an in-depth interview about his trophy-laden time at Old Trafford and his subsequent managerial career.
