Premier League - Bassong boost for Wolves
Wed, 15 Feb 10:00:00 2012
Wolves are hopeful defender Sebastien Bassong will be fit for their next match at his former club Newcastle on February 25.
The on-loan Tottenham man underwent a scan on the hamstring injury suffered during the 5-1 home defeat by West Brom and it has revealed a minor grade one tear.
Steve Kemp, head of Wolves' medical department, said: "The scan has revealed a grade one tear and Sebastien has started his rehabilitation at Compton (training ground).
"We'll see how it progresses but, if he makes a good recovery, he'll have a chance of being available for the trip to Newcastle."

Lol he was shocking against West Brom is that really a boost?
Could Wolves not have waited untill we ( the TOON ) played them before sacking big Mick ? We will now have to face a fired Wolves probibly under a new manager, this after having to face a Spurs team fired up after all the Harry Redknapp hoo ha, still we should have enough to topple an average Wolves team at best......or will we I ask ?
He did not want to stay at a "poor " relegated team NUFC, so he decamped elsewhere. Now look at him he could be relegated again, he is not playing for Spurs he is on loan, silly man.
Boost for wolves....you must be joking his performance against west brom was totally useless he was at fault for at least two of the goals.....how can that be a boost ???.
