Holloway ready for the run-in

Ian Holloway is prepared for "one hell of a gallop" as he attempts to guide Blackpool back into the Barclays Premier League at the first attempt.

Two goals from Gary Taylor-Fletcher and on-loan Wigan forward Nouha Dicko's first goal for the Tangerines moved Holloway's in-form side up to fourth in the npower Championship.

El-Hadji Diouf's cheeky penalty had made it 2-1 just before half-time, but Blackpool were not to be denied victory and stretched their unbeaten run to 10 games in all competitions to send Rovers bottom.

Holloway said: "We've got a long run to go, it's going to be a hell of a gallop isn't it? There isn't a bad team in this division and Donny certainly aren't a bad team. I was very impressed with the way they kept going and I think the scoreline flattered us in the end.

"I didn't like 2011 at all. 2010 was magnificent, but 2011 was absolutely forgettable I'm afraid and ended in the biggest disappointment of my life.

"We've dusted ourselves down, I felt a bit sorry for myself for a while but we've got the bit between our teeth and I don't know what my best team is at the minute I have to say, which is a nice situation to be in."
