Brighton boss Gus Poyet admitted his below-par side were fortunate to escape with a point following a lacklustre display in their 2-2 against Millwall.
The Seagulls twice fell behind to goal from Andy Keogh and Liam Feeney, but came back to clinch a draw and extend their unbeaten run in 2012 to 10 league and cup games thanks to equalisers from Sam Vokes and substitute Kazenga LuaLua.
"Everything went wrong in this game for us. The effort was great, but we made so many bad decisions," said Poyet.
"It wasn't a good day, we made too many mistakes. But we threw everything into it towards the end and we came away with a great point. Credit goes to Millwall because I like the way they play."
Poyet was delighted with the impact made by winger LuaLua off the bench.
"It was a terrific strike," he said. "His job is to make a difference for however long he's on the field for and he hit the ball with so much power."
