We're going up - Di Canio

Paolo Di Canio believes his side are destined for promotion from npower League Two after their 3-0 demolition of rivals Crawley at the County Ground.

Swindon went above Crawley into fourth place as a result of their 17th league win of the season and moved within a point of leaders Southend.

Di Canio watched the match from the stands because of his third touchline ban of the season but it did not stop him joining in the ovation at the final whistle for his players.

"This was an important win for us because they played a long ball game and it was not easy to play our football," said the Italian. "At half-time I told my players we had to play our football in the manner we like to play it.

"My players were fantastic, especially in the second half when we did not give them one chance. Overall I think the best team won and I have a special mention for our goalkeeper Wes Foderingham who made two great saves in the first half.

"My ban gave me the opportunity to watch the game from the stands and get a different view, thanks to the FA."
