Dean Saunders demanded improvements after his Doncaster side went down 3-1 at home to Blackpool and slipped back to the foot of the npower Championship.
Gary-Taylor Fletcher's first-half brace put the Seasiders in charge before El-Hadji Diouf's penalty reduced the arrears on the stroke of the interval.
On-loan Wigan forward Nouha Dicko sealed the points for Blackpool, while Saunders was left to rue Rovers' profligacy in front of goal.
"We missed chance after chance and the only consolation is they score goals against everybody," he said.
"I've just said to the players that we're in a relegation battle and we've got to wake up and roll up our sleeves and fight for every point.
"You've got to earn the right to play."
