Burnley's Kyle Lafferty feels he has overcome a mid-season dip in form and aims to show the fans his best in the final weeks of the season. The Northern Ireland international striker scored just his fourth goal of the season in last weekend's 1-1 draw with Stoke but is keen to add to that tally before the end of the campaign.
He told the club's official website: "I think everyone knew I had a dip over the last two months, but I feel I am getting back to my best and I would like to think I have a few more goals in me this season now.
"I have been getting stick from the fans and rightly so because they pay good money to come and watch football.
"But I have changed my training routine and the way I eat and hopefully there is an improvement.
"I just want to get back to my best and prove to fans that I am worth my place in the team."
