Macclesfield recorded their first home win since November with a 2-1 success over Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.Late goals from Jamie Tolley and Francis Green helped secure the three points.
New Shrews boss Paul Simpson looked set to end his side's nine-game winless streak until Tolley powered home after 82 minutes from 20 yards to cancel out Dave Hibbert's opener.
Three minutes later Green scored his 10th goal of the season with a 25-yard drive which gave goalkeeper Glyn Garner no chance and turned the game on its head.
The visitors had taken the lead after 64 minutes when Hibbert, a player that Simpson had discarded as Preston boss, raced onto Mark Pugh's pass before finishing from 15 yards.
Earlier, goalkeeper Jon Brain saved acrobatically to deny Pugh while Kevin McIntyre clipped the crossbar with a neat volley.
