Sam Vokes scored his 11th goal of the season to keep Bournemouth's faint hopes of survival alive with a 2-0 home win over injury-hit Yeovil.Administration-hit Bournemouth, who are now 11 points from safety with eight games remaining, took the lead in the ninth minute through former Chelsea reserve captain Danny Hollands.
Warren Cummings spotted winger Max Gradel in acres of space on the right, he cantered into the area before finding Hollands with a low cross, which his skipper swept home from 10 yards.
Yeovil missed two chances with Simon Church skying an easy volley and Scott Guyett wasting a free header before Vokes doubled the lead 13 minutes before the break.
Brett Pitman collected the ball from a corner, stepped outside the full-back and produced a pinpoint centre, which teenager prospect Vokes glanced beyond Yeovil goalkeeper Scott Flinders.
Yeovil had to wait until the 78th minute for their first shot on target when Lloyd Owusu was denied by on-loan Cardiff goalkeeper David Forde.
