West Brom defender Leon Barnett has admitted he was "emotional" to see former club Luton relegated from League One at the weekend.Luton's fate was sealed on Saturday with a 2-1 home defeat to Brighton and Barnett, who left the Hatters last summer to join Albion for £2.5million last summer, hopes his former employers can make amends for their relegation next season.

He told Sky Sports news: "It meant a lot to score against Watford as I'm a Luton boy and the rivalry is quite fierce.

"For anybody to see their hometown club go down is emotional.

"But hopefully they will bounce back and get back to where they belong."
