Port Vale boss Lee Sinnott has continued preparations for next season by informing defenders Charlie O'Loughlin and Keith Lowe they can leave.Vale had their relegation from League One confirmed with a goalless draw with Huddersfield on Saturday and Sinnott has already begun his summer clear out.

Lowe had been on a season-long loan from Wolves but has been informed he will return to the Molineux once his spell with Vale is completed.

And O'Loughlin has also been told he is not in the manager's long-term plans and is free to find himself a new club.

Sinnott told the club's official website: "It is just purely a footballing decision made on how I see us going, with the amount of money we have available and the squad size we will have.

"I informed Keith and I informed Charlie, so it gives them a bit more time to get fixed up somewhere else and I wish both of them the best of luck."
