Defender Richard Stearman is adamant Leicester can lift themselves out of the relegation zone with a win over Barnsley this weekend.Leicester secured their Championship status last season with a win at Oakwell and the 20-year-old is convinced Ian Holloway's side can boost their chances of survival with a similar result on Saturday.

Leicester currently lie third from bottom in the Championship table and are a point behind Sheffield Wednesday and Coventry.

"We have to go to Barnsley on Saturday hoping for a repeat performance of last year's game there when we got a vital win," Stearman told the club's official site.

"It is just about getting the job done. When we get one goal I think we'll get a few and we have confidence in our strikers that they will put the ball in the back of the net."
