Thu 15 May, 01:00 PM

Lee Young-Pyo has expressed his desire to leave Tottenham this summer after failing to hold down a first-team place at White Hart Lane.Since leaving PSV Eindhoven in 2005, the full-back has struggled to make in the Premier League and is not thought to be in Jaunde Ramos' plans for the future.

The South Korean international had initially stated he was committed to Spurs, but he now appears to favour a move elsewhere in order to find more playing time.

"This is a point in my life that I need a change and I must make the best decision for myself," he was quoted as saying in The Korea Times.

"The most important thing for me is to be happy and have fun playing on the pitch. It doesn't matter where I play."

His former club PSV are reportedly monitoring the player's situation.
