Leeds defender Alan Sheehan, who is currently on loan with the Whites, has been offered a new one-year contract by parent club Leicester City.The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international is one of six out-of-contract players at the Walkers Stadium to be handed new deals by Foxes manager Ian Holloway.
Sheehan, currently sidelined due to a three-game ban following his recent dismissal at Yeovil, will be eligible to play in the play-off final at Wembley if Leeds win through against Carlisle.
The 21-year-old, who arrived on loan at Leeds at the end of January, has made 10 appearances at left-back for Gary McAllister's side and scored the winner in last month's victory at Doncaster.
