Port Vale manager Lee Sinnott could bring in as many as three new defenders as he continues the rebuilding work for next season.Sinnott has already dipped into the transfer market three times by bringing in Rob Taylor, Anthony Griffith and most recently Steve Thompson, however he insists he has no intention of stopping there.

He told the Sentinel: "I will be looking to bring in a centre-half. Hopefully I will bring in a couple of defenders, but it might be three.

"We need to look for a certain calibre of person in that defence."
